Joseph Aloba, the father of the late Nigerian singer Mohbad made a poignant statement during a guest appearance on Max 103.2 FM. He expressed that if he had the chance to meet Mohbad again, he would advise him to be cautious about the woman he would chose to marry.

This revelation follows recent turmoil in Mohbad's family, with his father publicly expressing concerns for his safety. Allegations surfaced that Mohbad's wife, Omowunmi and her lawyer Falana were allegedly planning harm against Mohbad's father.

The strained relationship between Mohbad's father and wife became evident during a Coroner's inquest court where Mohbad's father accused Wunmi of infidelity and manipulating his late son by putting sleeping pills in his food. He also claimed that Wunmi engaged in relations with a signee in the same house.

In the interview with Max 103.2FM when Mohbad's father emphasized that his late son made mistakes in choosing a spouse highlighting concerns about the union. 

He stated that the marriage was more of an introduction leading to an engagement with Mohbad personally covering the dowry for Wunmi.
